It blow up all the dust and spread virus everywhere.
Leaf blowers spread
dust, dirt, animal droppings, herbicides and pesticides...
animal droppings?
what type of animal droppings?
well besides of dog's and cat's. there are lot mice!
all of these are disbursed through the air in such a violent manner by those leaf blower works who has wear a face mask already !!!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand why these leaf blowers are legal?
I don't even understand why they are used at all?
Because
Basically, leaf blower just move dust from one area to another area.

Is that annoying when someone sneeze in front of you without cover?

Dust in the airstream poses a serious health threat to children, older people, and those with respiratory illnesses.

    Ban Leaf Blowers !
I found a web site whose aim is the complete elimination of leaf blowers
from California, and Nation-wide if possible.

Opponents of leaf blowers say noise isn't the only pollutant. The fumes from the gas engines foul the air and the machines kick up particulates containing mold, pesticides, dried animal waste and plain old dust

Citizens in my town of Takoma Park, MD are asking the city council to ban gas-powered leaf blowers because they are so noisy and generate so much air pollution. If the council agrees, our community will join many others around the U.S. that believe it is cleaner and healthier to rake leaves rather than blow them into bags or down to the street for pick-up.http://stanford.wellsphere.com/green-living-article/as-communities-ban-leaf-blowers-homeowners-save-money-by-raking/430889

Report to City Council on Leaf Blowers.
Citizens Requesting a Total Ban of Leafbowers
A number of citizens attended nearly every NCTF and NRB meeting on this issue. There
is still a very vocal constituency for an outright ban of leaf blowers. We expect that
representatives of this group will attend the City Council meeting and voice their opinion.
Both the NRB and the NCTF decided not to recommend a total ban on leaf blowers,
because it would have a negative impact on business and because both groups believe
that they recommended an acceptable alternative to an outright ban.

Council Approves Partial Leaf Blower Ban.
Following months of discussion, the Cambridge City Council has given preliminary approval to a partial ban on the use of leaf blowers that Councilor Henrietta Davis says should ensure that residents have a "quiet summer."
At their November 19 meeting, the councilors voted to allow the use of leaf blowers between March 15 and June 15 and between September 15 and the end of December--what they called the spring and fall "clean-up periods." But the blowers would be banned at other times of the year.http://www.cctvcambridge.org/node/2163
